Forester unveils the obvious

Now we have some numbers to think about.
The enterprise market realizes more and more the power of new technologies.
I personally love the fact, that the curve for the Social Networking is the most impressive. That makes totally sense if You think about the power of social networks and that it's the center of all other features. The people and especially the employees need to be connected and the informal network has to be visible to the company and the workers. That increases knowledge sharing and lowers the Silo perspective tremendously.
Especial my Generation "the Millenials" use to work in their networks already. We don't think of a company as an hierarchical construct. It is more about the information and who can help us getting that information that we think about an enterprise.

Now it's up to the enterprise software industry to make this change happen and tangible.

Change to CRM related issues

I changed my thesis going away from Social Networking and Social Computing to specific Integration areas in the field of the Costumer Relationship Management.

I will take a closer look to the areas of
1. Sales
2. Marketing
3. Service / Support

and try to figure out what use cases social networking can support and outline the processes afterwards.
